Meryl has new boots! She lapped the house in them about five times, adamant that they not be taken off. So, we took them outside for a spin.

Meryl has figured out how to open all of the kitchen drawers, and needs (does she?) another one of her own. The bottle drawer is so passé. ‘Goodbye’ to playing with blenders and powdered sugar. ‘Hello’ to magnetic locks, everywhere.

Grandpa is transferring from UWMC rehab to Alaska Regional rehab tomorrow. During his time here, Meryl started to walk and was able to break-in her new kicks while discovering the hallways with him (and then attempt to lick the soles of her shoes afterwards). Here’s to bolstering their immunity and reaching milestones together, and beyond!
