To Bainbridge we go for a Cuddy cousin family spectacular!
Grandpa FaceTime x Jane FaceTime x Allison x Eva...pretty much anyone with a birthday, Happy Birthday!
Every so often, Meryl will proclaim ‘I just like flavor!’ This was one of those times. The maple syrup was so full of flavor she had to lick her plate.
Meryl now has all twenty teeth and, thanks to the dentist and hygienist, they’re sparkly clean! She was also inducted into the No Sugar Bug Club for brushing and flossing on the regular. Next appointment(s!) in November for Meryl ‘and’ Holmes!
Lucy, Megan, Mason, and Molly stopped by to visit! It was fun to meet Mason for the first time too - he’s so tall! And with it being sunny, grilling hot dogs seemed appropriate. Meryl also lucked out with extra Easter chocolate for dessert (because anything goes when people are over) and literally bounced off the walls after they left before going to bed:)
Molly is due June 3rd! Cousins upon cousins!
And sleeeeeeeeping in.
Happy Easter! What a difference six months makes since Halloween when we got away with never opening candy (for Meryl). This morning, she tore into her chocolate bunny and flew down the block collecting Easter eggs to open and eat treats (while sitting in the middle of the street in the sun). Springtime trick-or-treating was a total success, and it was great to catch-up with our neighbors - we’ve emerged from hibernation! Popping bubble wrap while sitting inside Xanna and Grandpa’s Easter box was a hit too!
Our cute little sloth bear watching the Easter egg hunt from afar in Lola’s arms:)
We hung out with Grandpa and Xanna this morning on FaceTime and got to see Grandpa walk with his cane! Go Grandpa! (We also had Xanna show us her best model walk after her MCL surgery too, everybody is vertical!)
Tito went to Sakura Con today and had an artist draw a picture of Meryl and Holmes for us! It’s perfect!
Because it takes sooo long for the rest of us to get to the car.
Five months! Rolling over, reaching, and sleeping (for the most part, I’ll jinx us if I don’t include a caveat). He sure does dole out the smiles, and loves being in the center of all the activity. And as long as he’s fed, all is good. But really, that goes for us all.
