Lummi has a scratched and infected paw, necessitating the 'cone of shame.' 

 ...She tipped Lummi's water bowl over, getting herself and everything wet, and scooting off thereafter to leave the scene.  

Baylie and Meryl went on a nature walk around the neighborhood today, where Meryl got to feel tree trunks, leaves, and the SUN! 

First swimming lesson is in the books! We did the Hokey Pokey and turned ourselves all around. But to Meryl, lounging on her back was what it was all about!  

Amelia, from across the street, is brushing up her babysitting skills by being a mother's helper. (Both she and Lummi have birthdays tomorrow!) So we went through alllllllll of Meryl's clothes today to weed out the small ones, and we're still in awe of all that she has!  Good thing we found some swimsuits (including mine!) because Meryl starts swimming lessons next week (AKA floating and splashing classes).

Happy 4th Birthday, Noelle! Naturally, we had to celebrate by frosting cupcakes...so that we could eat frosting.
