Xanna told Meryl all about raising tadpoles tonight while reading about speckled frogs sitting on speckled logs. With Xanna here, that means Grandpa is ‘also’ in Seattle! They flew down this morning and checked into UWMC rehab today. Milestone achieved, and on to the next step! 

  This year, we all headed to the Mahan’s on Bainbridge Island for our holiday cousins get-together. Kids everywhere, we over potlucked, and Matt brought his espresso machine for the morning...success!

Tis the season! Purple power with the UW Alumni Association at the Woodland Park Zoo. Yup, we’re becoming zoo members.

Last night we went to a ‘cheese’ party where I brought my childhood favorite, homemade Velveeta mac-n-cheese. We had looooots left and have been eating it all day. Bring on the kale tomorrow!
