Haircut! BBQ’d ham and black eyed peas! We’re kicking off 2018 with a fresh start, and good luck...particularly needed as “Betsy Scissorhands” is providing the coifs. (Meryl, on the other hand, is kicking off the New Year by sleeping less, don’t let this picture fool you!)

It took two nights to find ‘a’ tree as the lots seemingly vanished just before Christmas, but we happened upon four tall ones in the waiting, chopped off the top and bottom of our choice pick, and took it home to become the chosen one.
The Lawers (Noonans and Posts) have descended on Seattle, with boundless energy for visiting Grandpa at UWMC. So glad we stockpiled 1/2 a pig, 1/4 of a cow, and endless salmon filets in the freezer!
