Meryl and I stopped by Ken’s Market to grab some chips on the way home, and ran into our neighbors buying mashed potatoes and a bottle of sparkling for their night in the sun. We ‘had’ to try them! Who knew?
Let’s just say that it takes ‘a lot’ of encouraging to get Meryl to put things away. Practice makes perfect?
“Look, Meryl! A waterfall!” And so we started our trek north with completely wet sleeves. Note, placing both hands in the waterfall is a very effective way to let water run down your arms.
One hour of sleep! I repeat, Meryl slept for the first time (as a mobile toddler) on an airplane for one whole hour...in Frank’s arms, which fell asleep, but she slept!
Xanna got a light saber bubble wand, but Meryl knew who’s force worked best - or was at least the most entertaining.
Adding another scoop to the sundae come November, with sprinkles on top!
Early Discovery Park morning yet again, Lummi’s and my favorite.
Celler Dwellers’ ‘Rose All Day’ fete yet again lands on a sunny afternoon. Meryl scarfed down Wendy’s Scotch eggs and weeded her garden:)
Before and after, first one in the books! We headed to a Cinco de Mayo themed Mother Daughter Banquet at the WAC today. Highlights were tacos and churros, and learning how to sit like a lady at the table with napkins on our laps!
I forgot to take pictures...until it was time to go:)
Really, ‘merry the fourth be with you,’ thanks to Sasha’s Christmas gift. It still fits!
