And cute pumpkin hats a la Lola! Earlier this week, we double dated with Maya, Lauren, and Dan on the Seattle waterfront Ferris wheel, with dinner at Red Robin afterwards! Got the burger nostalgia fix from our youth, and are good for a while now:)

Lola and Tito brought over a tricycle for Meryl tonight. We all learned how to build it (thanks, Tito!) and Meryl learned how to ride it - with her helmet on, of course!
Took Meryl for a quick jaunt to Woodland Park Zoo and she couldn’t resist a twirl on the carousel.
Last pumpkin picking montage:)
Xanna’s in town! And we headed to Bainbridge Island today for pumpkin patch family mania too!
Kinley’s 5th birthday too!
Thank you, Molly:) Obviously, my good side.
Shake Shack is opening their first Seattle Shack and I went to the VIP Preview tonight before their pending opening. And Meryl gets to have her first Shackburger.
Learning about the Senior Loan Committee. Lummi, on the other hand, is more concerned with acquisitions.
Being social and nice to people is tiring!
Meryl and I went shopping for a light for the baby’s room, and I turned around to find her testing out the bedding too. At least she took off her shoes! Me taking this picture gives no positive reinforcement at all:)
Amazon profits yet again with a shipment of all our potty training needs. I guess those friends of hers at school are good influences, but we’re scrambling at home to figure this out! Into the great beyond. Something is always changing.
Xanna talked to Meryl about all the things she could do with an oatmeal container tonight, like drumming! Perfect pre-bedtime activity:)
Back from LA and here is the gift I got Meryl.
While Sarah and I were vacationing in Los Angeles, we went into this shop and they had this wool taxi cab and knew I needed to get it for Meryl.
My dad was a taxi cab driver and we want to find touches that Meryl can know him and her little ‘Hey Taxi’ is one of those things.
Why ‘Hey Taxi’? That was the name of his cab company when I was a kid.
I’m pretty sure Meryl is doing just fine with Lola and Tito while we’re gone. In fact, with this look, I don’t even think she’s even missed us.
