The other night, Meryl woke up from sleep around 4am and as Sarah consoled her, the subject of a Cupcake Party came up. That party was last night and consisted of frosting cupcakes and her face.

Also, oven mitts:) We’re getting ready for Thanksgiving.
Holmes is alive! Second round confidence is unbelievable:)
Nighttime visit from Chelsea and Allecia! Chelsea brought homemade butter mochi, which is quite possibly my new favorite dessert/snack. Dense, chewy, sweet, but not too sweet - delicious. (Google it.) And, well, sparkling is...sparkling!
Baylie took Meryl to the aquarium on Wednesday and she seemingly grew up instantaneously.
After 36 hours in the hospital, we left with a real live baby! (Why, oh why, did I buy an actual ‘newborn’ onesie? I should know better; he’s already muscling through it!)
Some people sip hot chocolate, Meryl prefers to sip ketchup. Regardless, Shake Shack take-out at home tasted pretty good.
Meryl meet your baby brother, Holmes.
Hello, world, my name is Holmes Edwin Lawer Guanco. I came into this world on Wednesday November 14 at 12:54pm at 8lbs, 9ozs and 19 1/2” long.
Grandpa is in heaven seeing Meryl more often. And, I’m still pregnant.
Turns out, inviting people over doesn’t initiate labor either! Allison and Caleb dropped by this afternoon for a visit, and Laurel was all too willing to read books:)
Still pregnant! Due date is today. No signs of any progress. Frank and I are headed to the Canlis bar.
We bought a lot of them:)
