With uncontrollable laughter!
And got wet! Meryl ended up squatting a little too low in the water, and then later took a tumble while throwing a stick! Whoops! She also learned that ocean water tastes salty...and consequently wanted to lick everything that was wet:) Oh what you can learn at the beach.
We’re in the midst of applying for Holmes’ passport! First step, the picture, which needs a white background. We took advantage of the white sheet at PT this week - and, well, forgot that he had drool on his shirt. Oh well! Turns out adult passports last ten years and kids passports expire in five. Now, where to go? (Also, it’s fun to list height as ‘two feet.’)
And just like that, he’s getting the second kid treatment with this post a day late:) (We did take this picture yesterday!) Holmes is growing and growing, and now ready for food! I remember when I thought he’d nevvver do tummy time longer than a minute, and now he’s loving it, while reaching and grabbing and drooling all over! He’s such a happy and content kiddo. And well, who wouldn’t envy his hair too!
Six months down, and double the weight up!
Gotta love a a girl with confidence and style - all her!
Progress! Holmes is doing allthethings. Our PT monthly cadence has been pushed out to bi-monthly, so we’ll be back in July to check on more capabilities...but mostly equal side (left and right) preference, as that’s really the long lasting concern with torticollis. Go Holmes, go!
Nails did, drums drummed, and cuddles snuggled!
Meryl and I have been biking often this week, and we capped the weekend with a bike to the store and a stop at the playground on the way home. Climbing all the climbs, but swinging and zoning out proved to be the most relaxing - for both of us!
Fist bump hello, Xanna!
The weather outside is perfect for a backyard picnic! Lasagna leftovers for us, turkey sandwich for the lady...mostly because she had lasagna for dinner last night and lunch today.
Reunited and it feels so good! I’ve been in Chicago with girlfriends for the last few days for a long weekend - fun times and great food! Luckily, Frank and Tito held down the fort and everyone is still alive and thriving!
This is the Flying Ball exhibit at the Pacific Science Center. It’s Meryl’s absolute favorite. The science is about the air stream moving around the ball and the still air in the room. Fun!
Even though he can’t have any, Holmes is just as excited for Shake Shack as we are.
