I guarantee you this, Meryl can dig trenches anywhere she wants to fill her dump truck as long as she continues to be content playing on her own!

We went on a looooong stroll today to get security envelopes and a snack for the way home. On the way we learned about bird seed and suet from a neighbor, managed to pick some up along with our envelopes, and stumbled upon the house that is always decked out for a holiday on the way home.
First virtual Rainbow Room dance party, and it was a hit! It’s amazing, for ourselves and especially for the kids, how nice it is to see each other.
And then the battery ran out at the end of the block and I had to drag the motorcycle back:) This thing is a beast, but the best.
The sun peaked through the clouds, we ordered food for dinner, we didn’t cook, it came with dessert, the kids went happy bonkers afterwards, we didn’t have a kitchen to clean up, and we have leftovers for tomorrow. Win!
Sure looks cute, huh? The real story here is that Holmes figured out that if he sits and lies on top of Elmo, Elmo will continue to make sounds. In other news, self guided entertainment!
We’ll see what else survives the compost bin for more experiments to come! (Or if we’re capable of growing anything too.)
Thank you, social media, for the idea to paint toys with washable paint and wash them off in the bathtub! Doo Doo here lucked out…can’t say the ‘washable paint’ was completely washable, so we’ll chalk it up to added character:) She’s also sleeping with the paintbrush tonight.
First Zoom with friends! It lasted fifteen minutes, which is when the kids bailed and the parents longingly said, “goodbye.”
Cuddy family gives Zoom a go! Success!
Meryl and I scrambled to the beach in anticipation of the rain descending. It was colder than we anticipated, but I’ll admit that sitting on the log chatting was pretty nice!
We dined al fresco with our neighbors, safely distanced from each other in lawn chairs on the sidewalk. Gosh was it nice to catch up!
