While Meryl is ‘supposed’ to stay in her room at night, evening shenanigans always seem to get the best of her. Last night, after hanging out in the doorway, she decided to sleep there too. (She also dimmed the bathroom light for optimal hallway slumbering as well.)

One of our books refers to “using your brain” as “using your gray matter.” So when the kids discovered that their heads were hidden, we all had fun talking about finding their gray matter…over, and over, and over again:)
Well, one shelter-in-place perk is that nobody is around (in some places). Baylie strolled the kids down to the Seattle Center last week and they had it all to themselves!
It’s a nightly ritual.
