We all scream for ice cream! My spontaneous thought to go out for ice cream on a hot day didn’t factor in not being able to sit inside the shop or walk somewhere before it melted. So, we dripped all over the place in the trunk! Ice cream tastes good anywhere, really.

Well, reading the same books over and over (their choice) does have its benefits…Meryl remembered every word to one of Holmes’ favorite books and read it to him this morning!
He’s now ready for one single deep puddle.
Yep! Out from the depths of the garage arose my old Polaroid camera. It’s magic!
He was so excited. And loved it. Like, really loved it. Like, we’re ditching him for the whole day tomorrow.
Same get-up. From now on, Holmes can be his own individual:) Look at him though, such swagger.
Last Friday, Holmes’ teachers made him a video to welcome him to class, tour the room, and meet his new friends. We’ve been watching it all weekend in prep, this morning included.
After dropping the kids off, we got coffee (like the Seattle-ites we are) and took our oldest child to Discovery Park to celebrate. It doesn’t take long to wear her out and put a smile on her face!
