Bunny turned one this weekend and Meryl made her a card to send in the mail, mostly so that it would come back for her to receive. IRS checks, ballot votes, and Bunny’s birthday card - the U.S. Postal Service delivers.
Lucky for Bunny (ahem, Meryl and Holmes), we saw Jenna, Scott, and Maddi their dog on our way to the mailbox and mentioned the good news. To all of our surprise, we returned home to a balloon and birthday card!
At least with us, the neighborhood bookstore is winning this summer with the public library not fully operational. Diving deeper into current obsessions and expanding our home library’s author diversity is fun! (Also to note, an apple in Holmes’ hand. This kid.)
With Lummi the shark circling for bites.
Seriously, no complaints about this neighborhood apple crew.
Silent credit to Lummi, who for some reason loves to eat large bite sized clumps of grass and dirt all over the lawn.
Getting gas these days is an adventure, throw in a car wash and we’ve got a thrill of an afternoon! The kind of thrill that makes you want to cover your eyes but peak through your fingers kind of excitement:)
Good thing we have an ice scraper and snow brush. The things you discover while playing inside the car.
Still working towards two wheels. Not a bad view for the practice crew!
