Lummi got a new dog bed! We all had to try it out.
Lummi got a new dog bed! We all had to try it out.
Meryl described the scene, “We now have three dogs and two parents. That’s a lot to handle.” So, we played relaxing dog music (really, there’s a playlist to be found for anything these days), and Meryl and Holmes played their own relaxing music with their ukulele and trumpet while lying on their new dog beds too:)
We are super fans of chanterelle toast! Luckily, they’re prolific in the Pacific Northwest these days.
Ginger molasses cookies this weekend! And Meryl is an expert at rolling cookie dough balls in turbinado sugar.
Holmes gets to face forward in his car seat now! And, these moments are worth capturing for all the moments that are not:)
Eating meat on the bone (wings) while watching people talk about bones! Seattle’s Burke Museum opened its Cruisin' the Fossil Coastline exhibit via Zoom this evening with a fun peak into the gallery led by the exhibit curators, friends, and literal paleo rockstars, Paleontologist Dr. Kirk Johnson (Sant Director of the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History) and Ray Troll (Alaskan artist).
Laughter and a show…talent, TBD:)
Compost truck at the view spot at sunset, trifecta!
Decorating the tree only took three days…legendary lights that didn’t light, a power outage, and two trips to the drug store for more:)
Twenty minutes of darkness, but long enough to build a fireplace fire and find seemingly all of our battery operated lights!
First appointment of the day to avoid the crowds and we drove away with a bold and beautiful Blue Noble Fir that just fits in the living room.
