An audience most certainly inspires confidence!
After walking right past it, we fell for this garden and all that we saw above and below ground in it. It’s got it all from an apple and pear orchard, to a salmon lifecycle mosaic path, and (surprise!) frogs under logs!
Because salon styling is an art form.
And yet, it’s underneath a bench that seemed to captivate the most interest.
Aside from benches, the Yesler Swamp also has a pathway of boardwalks that are pretty fun to run around while not paying attention to learning about the swamp being nature’s sponge collecting runoff or spotting lichens on dead logs:)
Talk about happiness sweat sessions goals.
Holmes:)
Our five-day long home vacation has already been activity packed, more pictures to come! But for now, we’re cheering on our visit to a children’s garden in the winter (read no people, or plants really) and lots discovered…frogs under logs! Stay tuned:)
Little by little, it all starts with a scribble!
A visit to Fisherman’s Terminal for an adventure walk.
Xanna got her second vaccine dose yesterday! And so far she’s feeling gooood.
What is this sight? Are they playing together? Both this morning and this evening, I ruined it by walking over to take a picture. Lesson: Just ignore them and be invisible! Quality parenting suggestions for generations to come:)
After three days with Meryl at home with a cold, Holmes joined the house party today! We ventured out to get COVID tests this morning (negative for all!), and hope to return to school tomorrow…before they get to party on the home front yet again next week during preschool’s in-service days. So, we plotted fun things to do with all of our time. We love them so, so, so much, we just can’t seem to detach:)
(Just a hunch, but they might be feeling OK.)
