Though, somehow they became Mom and Dad horses while crawling into the kitchen. Talk about a growth spurt!

After a long period of contemplating the jump, she did it! Multiple times. And then she asked me to jump. I did. And then we got busted by the lifeguard we see every week (oops!), because we caused a scene and hadn’t properly learned how to jump off the block yet:) Sally’s on vacation right now and you better believe we have a lesson to learn when she gets back in the pool!
We have two more weeks of Family Swim until lessons resume…wish us luck with the diving block right there in plain sight:)
These kids keep climbing higher and higher right in front of our eyes. It’s amazing to see the confidence boost that happens merely weeks a part…growth boost too:)
Listening to Frozen with the speaker in her lap ended up not being the acoustic experience she really needed. Boom box style, yo!
We’re all mesmerized. Holmes couldn’t stop eating broccoli (whole stems and all, what?), and Meryl set up her own personal Frozen concert, sitting with the speaker on her lap, breaking now and then for a buoy swing moment.
Holmes negotiated with Meryl to eat her broccoli in exchange for giving her his corn on the cobb. I think we can all agree that tonight will never happen again, but it happened! Wish us luck for when that ‘broccoli belly’ decides to ‘Let It Go.’
Good grief, this kid. We were focusing on eating our dinner otherwise:) Maybe American Ninja Warrior training really is something we should look into.
Sunday. Diggers take days off too!
Baylie and Zak came over for dinner and it was so much fun to catch up! Plus, while much else stopped this past year, the kids still miraculously have kept growing:)
We’ve seen the first Frozen movie, we’ve read a bunch of Frozen books, we’ve watched the Frozen fireplace crackle…but it wasn’t till this morning when Meryl curled up on a pillow to listen to the Frozen soundtrack (and do nothing else) that it now seems we’re officially frozen on Frozen:)
Hot dog! Is this bonkers cool or what? The off season training we never knew existed, till now! This is really the magic carpet of skiing, it moves and gives the total feel of skiing down a mountain. Mirror in front to check out your smooth moves, just strike a pizza pose to ride yourself back up for another run, we will no doubt return for for the French fry speedster buffet.
