We’ve been exploring playgrounds after school and today’s adventure took us to the Discovery Park playground. They’re all so cool.

Holmes is all about sliding face first on his belly these days…for this moment, he is the influence:)

The kids love making animal faces with Xanna on FaceTime. However, there is one other emoji that comes to life as well and that is the poop emoji. Xanna likes to call it chocolate ice cream, but we all know that does more injustice to chocolate ice cream than the poop emoji:)

The art of quiet time is a sophisticated practice even us adults have a hard time doing.

Cornflake crust, honey custard (so good), whipped cream, and ‘Hawaiian Punch’ plums (so sweet). Yum! Thank you, Lorraine!

Cupcake break between tap class and soccer practice!

Carrying squishy balls, sitting on field dividers, sifting dirt, stacking cones (creatively)…and sometimes kicking a soccer ball comes naturally to this kid thanks to his proud support team:)

We’ve got a Master Gardener in the works here…well, at least a Master Observer:)

Elsa has emerged from her castle! Courtesy of a friend’s suite of accessories, we have a cape. Gloves from the winter box. Dress from Grandpa. Sparkly pink pen on her cheeks, and gobs of chapstick on her lips. She’s downright magical.

The hair salon has opened yet again! This time, we have a new stylist…and the seasoned professional is taking it easy. Gotta give it up for young energy:)

Is it a pool? Is it a gym? We are getting the most out of this dear couch:)
