There’s something here to do with counting kid toes and dinosaur toes, who knows. Feet fleet.

Meryl and I celebrated Winter Solstice on the slopes and headed back the next morning for another round of fun…”Mom, let’s play horsie! I’ll be the horse.” Fine by me! (We also met up with a friend the second day and I quickly became allergic to Meryl’s soul. Fine by me! We’re all eager for ski lessons soon, I’ve got to untether one to tether the next one!)
Day one.
Day two.
Oops, we were over a month late for Holmes’ three year check-up, and this ham of a kid is in the 100th percentile for charm:)
And then he headed back to preschool, and we got to have a parent teacher conference with his teacher, and we all agreed that school rules for Holmes. He has so many fans:) And he’s three.
I needed one thing, it turned into a neighborhood girls outing, and then Xanna and Meryl found some necessary building materials for Holmes.
And they sent us a selfie! Date night! And in the way of these days, we rapid tested and headed to a small holiday dinner with friends where everyone too showed their test results beforehand. They’re the hottest accessory of the season!
Off to Kringle’s Station we go!
(My favorite!)
With the world’s largest hot chocolate tank underneath filling all of our holiday happiness!
Look at these sweet, sweet angels who are always on their best behavior:) Now to head home to see Xanna!
Check-up at the dentist this morning! And Meryl has a six-year molar growing in…that we know is there thanks to the X-Ray!
We got to visit Meryl’s classroom today! As a holiday craft activity, Lola created parols for Meryl and her classmates to decorate. Parols are a Filipinx star shaped ornamental lantern displayed during the Christmas season. We watched a Disney short film on the tradition of making parols at Christmas time and then got our crafting on! Afterwards, the three of us walked out with the kids on their way to recess and just stood on the sidewalk smiling:) Such a fun!
