The kitchen has become host to a post dinnertime track meet this week, running nightly. Holmes is learning how to pump his arms to go faster. Meryl is practicing her inside lane passing skills while twirling around the bend. The heat turns up, clothes come off, and…we’re so glad to have a couch in the kitchen to watch the scene!
We watched a show about training dogs and the kids wanted to see if they could train Lummi:) Turns out, Lummi will do anything for treats…but the training here was mostly her training us to give her more treats:)
Friday song! (I caught Meryl’s cold this week and am thinking my nose should just outright run away at this point.)
Sometimes, Meryl just likes to dress up and feel pretty:) Happiness. She’s also started delving into my makeup…the latest look being blush goals of having tomatoes on her cheeks. That’s the look these days, people. Get it, get it!
So many bark chips, everywhere. And they always end up in the house.
Tutorials on the playground.
Hallway sleepovers are back:) Did they ever leave?
Negative for COVID, positive for sniffles and snuggles. And, writing a note to Holmes to say that she hopes he has a good day at school.
Meryl will randomly sing songs she’s learned in school and we’ve learned to captivate the moment and join in as piercing deeper into knowing about anything else that happens at school is foggy endeavor:)
Friday song!
