Frank emerged upstairs and Meryl and I jetted out of the house to find an eye shadow palette! We dressed up and Meryl of course needed her makeup done amidst looking at sparkly things:) Note her dress of choice: My dress from a historical past. JoAnn Fabrics pattern, yo!
Turns out, not many restaurants in downtown are open on a Sunday night…so we got Taco Time take-out and picnicked at Parsons Gardens for some tree climbing to close out the evening.
We met up with friends for miniature golf and had a…ball!
Let’s just say a lot of ‘natural matter’ found its way into the water:)
The friends birthday party circuit is hot these days.
Holmes got his first teeth X-Ray’s this morning! And, our dentist told us to start saving for ‘early’ braces. Adult teeth are twice the size of kid teeth annnd his teeth are already crowding up to party in his mouth. Rave on, teeth! Live your best life for a few years.
Xanna has been very popular this week! We finally caught her to wish her Happy Birthday!
We all survived a full week of Frank living in the basement recovering from COVID. On day eight he finally tested negative and surfaced from the deep. He had relatively mild symptoms in comparison (head cold, no loss of taste or smell), but COVID is still COVID and, thankfully, vaccines did their thing.
Meryl quickly surmised that Frank being in the basement to protect us from the virus was just like Elsa staying in her bedroom to protect others from her powers…and that, just like Anna, we could push notes under the door to stay connected!
Bedtime routine efficiency!
My phone battery drained a lot faster this week with all our FaceTiming! And, if you’re in dire need of talking about the World Track & Field Championships, Frank’s got conversation:)
Meryl got to ride a real life actual school bus to a farm for her summer camp!
