Sneaky camouflage

While reading, Holmes proceeded to describe invisibility to be just like camouflage, which is sneaky:) He’s also catalogued bridges around Seattle that can open and those that stay closed. Bring on the knowledge library and factoids!

GO STORM

Ladies unite! Meryl and I caught one of the last WNBA Storm games of the season last night! And they won! Breanna Stewart scored a season high for points in a game (“Mom, why do they keep saying, ‘Breanna Stewart?’”), Sue Bird dazzled being Sue Bird, Lauren Jackson showed up to say, “hi,” and Megan Rapinoe played it cool court side. In other observations, Meryl noticed that there are a lot of ‘clapping songs.’ It was a sold out game (we were two of 13,500!), and it was WONDERFUL.

Seat sights

So much entertainment! Dancers, Taiko drummers, Doppler the Storm mascot…oh yeah, and the game:) I want to go to another game already!

Like Flex Labreck

Meryl wanted to unleash her inner American Ninja Warrior Flex Labreck athleticism with the other kids on a sculpture outside the arena on our way out of the stadium. The warped wall.

Germs

What better way to celebrate a second home day with a possibly contagious skin rash (doctor’s words) than to visit the gum wall at Pike Place Market. ‘Celebrate’ might be an inflated term:) Who knows. Fingers crossed prescription medicine and all the creams work their magic.
