Cousins! Kyra and Lainie arrived in Seattle today and we’ve already spontaneously spotted them on the sidewalk! What a fun meet cute before our weekend ahead celebrating Meryl and Lainie’s twin birthdays!
Our family skateboard collection is complete! Holmes now has his own deck and was so sad to not be able to stay for a joy ride on the ramps. We’ll be back!
String cheese, please!
Frank headed to Las Vegas last week through the weekend for work…cash only as it was a hacker conference:)
Electrical work! We updated the kids’ rooms so that they can finally be…safe. Old house problems and a corroded electrical panel (surprise!) served to push this singular mission out to a months long scope creep of a project.
Holes in the walls and airborne dust mean sleepovers in our room! Yay. It’s such a gift to spend endless hours settling them down to then listen to them roll around at night. Sleep deprivation is the present that keeps on giving.
I had thought I was so successful reading a chapter book to these quiet adorable souls. Holmes was playing with his trucks on the windowsill…but in reality, he was picking the paint off the window trim and piling the paint chips into his dump truck. Exhaustion, silence, and then I roll over to see this. They really do turn the emotional tide, here’s to another moon.
Back from Vegas with monogrammed M&Ms! So teeny tiny!
