Yay! Laurel came to town and joined us for dinner!

The once gas station turned holiday fun has returned yet again and we loved going back this year! Who doesn’t want hot chocolate poured from a gas pump?

New this year, karaoke! And Holmes was a bundle of all of our bravery and lined up first to belt it out! “Jingle Bells,” of course.

Meryl and Frank went on a holiday lights boat parade through the Fremont Canal and around Lake Union! In the rain:)

Meryl has been taking taiko drumming lessons at school. And we happen to also have a book about a girl who plays a taiko drum and wears a hachi maki, which is a traditional Japanese cloth headband…which Meryl of course wanted to make:) Thank you, Lola!

Our neighbor set up a holiday scene and brought in a photographer, and we were lucky to join in the fun!
