Who’s in the tidal pool now? We are!
Day two and we’ve got a plan. Our hotel had a bingo card of creatures to find for a prize. Serious bingo strategizing here for our next day at the aquarium.
Frank and I had countless references to Finding Dory while at the aquarium, if only Sigourney Weaver actually spoke over the microphone:) We attended a feeding at the Open Deep exhibit and got to see thousands of swirling sardines…sometimes the sharks got hungry.
Bingo! Bingo! Bingo! We found the final creature on our bingo card. The giant isopod, kind of similar to roly poly bugs but they live in the deep ocean and feast on fish carcasses. Same, same, but different:)
And that’s a wrap! Fun times at the aquarium! We’re hooked!
Spring Break! We touched down in Monterey and hopped into these rickety buckets of fun and headed out along the scenic Pebble Beach 17-Mile Drive!
…And smooth vibrations are a sure bet for snoozing:)
Benihana! Still a show! And, as Meryl pointed out, a male exclusive chef environment where they might not celebrate Women’s History Month. She wasn’t wrong. In her words, “we can do anything!”
Happy Easter Eve!
Mission critical! The kids used their water squirters to keep the sea anemones moist while the tide was low. Thank goodness.
We officially have a cousin in double digits! Noelle turned ten and we loved celebrating with her! And Meryl assumed she could blow out the candles too.
Let’s just add several more obstacles to pushing and swinging on the buoy swing!
