Sensory day at the National Nordic Museum!
Museums always seem to have dramatic stairways.
Imagining ourselves underwater listening to a big ocean wave traveling the length of the Jónsi FLÓD exhibit gallery. We all entered the total darkness with trepidation and left feeling brave. I love museums.
Got quarters? We’ve got a use for them! Frank and Holmes brought Meryl and I to the Ice Box Arcade, we made it into the cool crowd. Cool as ice:)
A flying butterfly and fresh breaths to set dandelion seeds a flight.
Riding on into dinner at Giddy Up for burgers and sundaes:)
Science! After measuring the temperature of seemingly all of the school’s surfaces, Meryl’s class made solar ovens and tested out their baking capacity in the sun! She and two friends made what they called the “Mega Solar Oven,” which was each of their three ovens combined into one architectural heat trap. And the chocolate chips melted!
More family fortunately keeps coming to town and we keep getting together!
They keep falling out!
Spiderman shoes! Frank and Holmes are packing twinning heat these days:)
Thanks, Xanna! Twenty-three Dragon Masters books to read this summer, bring on the magic!
Thanks, Xanna!
Holmes is getting braver and braver with wanting to swing higher and higher on the buoy swing!
