Chalk this up as a parenting moment not to repeat, but one we seemingly found worth of capturing for a memory. Afternoon “quiet time” led Holmes’ curiosity to our mosquito bite device, which suction-cups a bite to help reduce the itchiness (it is helpful). That being said, Holmes found himself repeatedly suctioning his cheeks, and here we are:)
Lucky us! A traveling carnival arrived in our friends’ town perfectly timed for our trip! And if you went to a traveling carnival in your youth, our experience was exactly the same with quite possibly the same rides and games:)
It was all a racket and it was all worth it. This was also the night that Holmes proclaimed that he wasn’t going home:)
Couch time with Kyra! In which Kyra taught the kids various terms of art. There are no bad apples in this bunch!
Our kids look forward to this chase game with Will…who has found quite possibly the most awkward way to chase them:)
Lucky us that we could get together on the east coast!
Weather delays and almost ten hours sitting on the same plane…but we made it!
Legoland New York!
We totally got caught up in riding the first ride we saw, as did everyone else. But we also love carousels, so it was worth the wait.
We could have easily spent all our time at Lego stations around the park:)
You could stick your creation on the globe!
There was a water park inside Legoland! And a build your own boat for boat racing.
Hard to believe, but true! And a 4D experience at that!
