Pluto snuck into our photo and surprised us:)
It takes teamwork to only walk in shadows on a sunny day!
We were ever thankful for afternoon breaks at the hotel, we would have never made it all day without them! The kids desperately wanted to go swimming, and so we had to splash…only it wasn’t as warm as one would think:) Afternoon refresher!
Disneyland! Let’s do this! (Well, we went a week ago.)
Mickey! Both kids brought journals for characters to sign their autographs in and, go figure, Mickey was the very first character we met.
Not every character could sign their journals, and…who cares, it’s Lightning McQueen! KACHOW!
Meryl’s favorite of them all, Raya!
We learned from Raya that Tuk Tuk’s favorite food is churros. So we had to get churros!
Choosing ‘ears’ is a personal journey. Ultimately, Meryl chose the path of bravery with her Ahsoka ears and wore them proudly each day…complimenting her pins collection, which she happily built while seeking out trading opportunities wherever she could.
I don’t think the kids stopped moving the whole time we were in Disneyland. Thank goodness we got a booth at this restaurant as they would have repeatedly fallen off chairs. (Stay tuned, pictures of the rides are coming. There were so many!)
Cold and windy, and these kids are champs. Humbao too.
I always do it, and I’m always thankful…because at the end of the day, when we’re cold and worn out, we knew these smiles are how we started!
And that’s a wrap to the season! We rushed off the mountain to the court for defensive jumping jacks and celebration doughnuts.
Cousins unite yet again! Elliot, Dylan, and McKenzie stopped by and I think we are near our socialization goal of introducing Humbao to 100 people by the time he’s three-months old…he’s ten-weeks old today! (Walking up to school drop-offs has been quite helpful.)
With improving weather and basketball fever, we started shooting hoops at our neighbor’s basketball hoop last week. It’s so fun to practice on the block!
