Yikes! It’s March and Holmes’ class play was in January! Here he is…the squirrel.

Holmes was actually one of three squirrels, amidst a number of forest creatures. He too had to learn his lines as well, though all the pre-K kids had several prompts on stage:) Also, Holmes was very proud to show us where he sat back stage, as stage mechanics and stage theatrics are so fun to learn when you’ve only seen one side of the scene!

She made this quilt!

It’s like a calcium waterfall at our house!

Orthodontia, we have arrived! Meryl got an expander…with the color name, ‘party mix.’ (All the glitter.) Pediatric dentistry and orthodontia is bonkers advanced, compared to our ancient upbringing:) And yes, that’s a 3D model of Meryl’s upper jaw!

And looking so sharp in the Christmas shirt that Sasha sent a couple of years ago. When fitted is hip:)

Taking the next higher ramp like a champ!

I mean, I can, and I do, by taking all these pictures. Here we are at the WAC Mother Son race car themed night:)

And it’s spring and the sun is shining!

We ducked in from the sun to see Luchadora at the Seattle Children’s Theater, and it was so good! The play was about the Mexican wrestling culture, Lucha Libre, and a Chinese folklore, following a daughter taking on her father’s place in a championship match.

We still have a puppy!

So much fun, Holmes wanted his turn.

We saw a dinosaur movie and played with everything that moved.

Meryl has fallen for fencing, and Holmes picked up skateboarding lessons during the same time…and he LOVES it.
