They’re falling out! We think.
Meryl has picked up basketball and soccer practice with Trevor across the street. She loves learning new moves, and I love their show-and-tell when practice ends!
(Only the made up kind.) Afterwards, the kids had fun creating their own obstacle challenges for themselves:)
Swimming lessons are still happening…swimming capabilities are still growing. It’s been interesting to see their skills come, and their stamina come and go:) There’s a lot to think about before muscle memory takes hold!
Still at it!
The Suzzallo Library, a beautiful place to read a book! We visited on our way to see the cherry blossoms in the Quad.
It’s always a scramble as our visit is directed by when the University of Washington says the cherry blossoms are near their peak bloom…and it was earlier this year due to a warm weather moment before incoming rain. We did it!
Happy Spring!
Gotta soak up the sun when we can!
A couple of days later, and oh how the weather can change. Last day on the mountain for one last moment…and it was pouring!
And that’s a wrap to the season!
We arrived early to Holmes’ bike riding class, why not use the cones for leash training too?
For how arduous it seems to help kids learn how to bike, it is a pretty complex set of movements when you think about it. Like swimming, hands and feet move at the same time but in different directions…and if you stop, you just might fear for your life! Like biking through the River of Death here, keep your feet up and just keep moving forward.
