And now we’re hitting our own fandom stride:) This time, seeing the Storm win against the Atlanta Dream.

Meryl has fallen for Storm player, Jewell Loyd. And lucky us, we get to cheer for her in the Paris Olympics this summer too!
Cooling off on a hot day after the game at the International Fountain a mere steps from the stadium!
Can’t stop, won’t stop!
And these two embody all that is fine and refined, and ready for the Spring Arts Showcase! This was back in June toward the end of the school year, when we had a second grader and a pre-K student. Meryl needed to wear open toed shoes because we had all gone out for manicures and pedicures the day prior:)
The gym turned into a fine art gallery for a couple of days with all of the kids’ art for the year on display. I am amazed every year at what they create and what they’ve learned, from different mediums to different artist references. It’s so cool!
While we’re going into the way back machine, this here concluded our passport and NEXUS card family renewal process. (Hello, Vancouver and beyond!) We had lots of conversations about not smiling…the antithesis of what we do in photos otherwise!
The top of the Space Needle that is! For a single day towards the end of the school year, the power went out in our school’s neighborhood; thus, closing school. So we became tourists in Seattle for a moment!
We had to stop by our neighbor’s strawberry shortcake stand underneath the Space Needle on our way out!
We also met up with friends at a farm during their spring baby animals celebration. Look at this cuteness!
One day, Meryl realized it was her stuffy Giselle’s birthday. So, she had us all draw birthday cards for the celebration…and honestly, none of us adults thought we’d enjoy making our cards as much as we did:) Thanks for having a birthday, Giselle!
To the puppy that is becoming a dog (he’s 7-months old today!), with a whole host of charms all his own. Including imposing himself into workouts and post-workout stretches.
