This party girl ended up running a temperature and conked out at the breakfast table while we were catching up with Kristi and Erin. For me, I stocked up on alllllll the cuddles. (She’s feeling better today.)
Noelle, and Caleb stopped by for visit! Allison is two months away from baby #3, so we all contributed name suggestions. I’m partial to Ludwila Bedelia, and from the looks of it, everyone surely agrees!
Xanna was more than happy to kick us out of the house.
Frank and Meryl dressed up tonight for their first Father Daughter Dance at the WAC!
Meryl also won the award for ‘Youngest Daughter’ at the dance:)
Frank and Meryl have Nutella toast moments...most mornings. Beats leftover dinner by a landslide. (Meryl and I share a distaste for too many repeated leftovers.)
Every night we comb Meryl’s hair with Frank’s Dad’s comb.
Meryl and Maya had a meet-cute at the airport on our way to Montana this weekend! (Maya was headed to San Francisco and Meryl chose to crash our adult escape with friends.) We opted for a parenting moment to try for listening skills here, but we all had leashes on the brain.
But it doesn’t last long:) We apparently still have a no napping policy on planes.
It’s was cooooooold in Manhattan, Montana, and far from any cityscape. But we simply had to meet the 52 horses and mules that the ranch was taking care of over the winter. To combat the windchill as we rode up the mountain, Meryl got a spa towel wrap:)
We couldn’t miss the chance to meet one of the mules to place a face to the name for all of Xanna’s stories about her childhood pet, Jenny, the burro.
When on vacation, sugar!
