Saturday family workout class! In that, Frank and I work out and Meryl and the other kids run a muck around us. Little rower!

Dad doesn’t even get any love.

 “Houston, we have freedom!” We headed to Houston this past weekend for a one night getaway before heading to the NASA Johnson Space Center for Smithsonian meetings and visit to the Destination Moon: The Apollo 11 Mission SITES exhibit, touring the Apollo 11 Command Module, Columbia. (It will land in Seattle in 2019 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the lunar landing!) We also celebrated sixteen years of dating by floating down a giant Texas shaped lazy river pool atop our hotel roof! Meanwhile, Meryl and Lummi hung with Lola and Tito:)

It snowed in Seattle this week! Being the end of February, will March roar in like a lion?

 Sesame mochi balls are a favorite in this household. Frank’s Dad was a fan too and named them, ‘buchi.’ Who doesn’t like sweet glutinous rice?

Meryl and I went to get balloons to celebrate a co-worker’s work anniversary tomorrow. She may have also walked out with some helium for herself. Let’s hope it doesn’t all go to her head:)

 Eighteen months going on eighteen years! Meryl is a year and a half today.

Meryl is insistant that she climb steps like an adult.
