Toddler-hood. Indecision. Strong opinions, mostly against anything that Mom and Dad suggest. And ‘a lot’ of emotions. All the time.

Family night! Six kids running (and crawling) amok, we lost a Nerf rocket to the neighbor’s tree, and everyone left full of ice cream. Success! Frank decided to ‘make’ us all dinner instead of ordering pizza, and then got caught on rocket-finding duty with the kids...will he opt for the easy dinner button next time? We’ll see!
We headed to the Pagdiriwang Philippine Festival at Seattle Center this afternoon, and decided to hit the playground and water park on the way out! Frank ended up getting soaked, but it sure was fun playing in the water in the sun!
Holiday weekend and sunny weather, we headed to Marymoor Park - the Disneyland of dog parks! Meryl loved the water stops just as much as Lummi.
We neglected to bring extra clothes for Meryl after the dog park. Luckily, showing up to the Fetcheros without pants is totally acceptable!
Meryl ‘finally’ got a hair cut! And, got to see her stylin’ bob from the back with a mirror just like us!
I skipped out to meet with girlfriends tonight, while Frank and Meryl headed out to satisfy their latest gluten craving - pasta!
Meryl has emerged into imaginative play! Lately, she’s enjoyed playing the role of ‘Lummi,’ letting us walk her around and feed her treats.
Meryl treats us all the same! Wouldn’t know it from the picture that she enjoyed the Mother Daughter Brunch!
Frank just bought a deep fryer...for the back yard:) He’s determined to make chicken nuggets that rival the Golden Arches, swaying Meryl into the kitchen instead of the drive-thru. But first, doughnuts!
Kagnar stopped by for an afternoon visit on Sunday and stayed for dinner! Lucky all of us because it’s been a while!
Lummi and I had to walk up to the market for Devonshire cream, and to the bakery on the way home for scones this morning. Royal wedding!
If only her parents could get her a haircut.
