Happy Birthday, Lolo! In memory of Lolo, we ate Chinese food for dinner and of course had fortune cookies. Lolo’s fortune was miraculously always the same in every fortune cookie he ate. After eating it first, when he read his fortune out loud, he said, “you love your wife.”
(Or, a convenient spot to dig with a digger.)
Holmes fed Grandpa a dinner of coffee, a mushroom, a tomato, a pepperoni slice, and a cookie while Meryl sang songs from a book.
Nope, Lummi did not eat anything she shouldn’t have. In fact, she made it through all of 2020 without any foreign bodies in her body. (Though, she did visit the emergency vet on an empty stomach in June for what we can only assume was pandemic cabin fever with a need to see other beings.) Fast forward to this week; she’s entered senior status, she’s now without several tumors, and she’s cancer free. Pet insurance continues to be the real hero in her life and nothing ever seems to punk her spunk…her ‘look’ included.
No nap today, too much going on! Holmes literally fell asleep while I was reading tonight:)
Rain and wind pummeled Seattle today. So, we cozied up and Xanna read to the kids! Well, Holmes stayed cozy warm by running around:)
Games, games, games! Happy New Year!
Black eyed peas and pork for good luck! Meryl and I dropped some off to Grandpa too:)
And more good luck!
We joined the Seattle Aquarium for their Rockin’ Rockfish Noon Year Celebration…complete with Salish Sea factoids and sea creature dance moves:) Happy New Year’s Eve!
