#respectthenap

Another round of Lightening Talks with the Seattle Aquarium! We learned about sea otters tonight, like how they’re warm blooded mammals, they don’t have blubber, but they do have lots of hair with air inside! And to help sea otters, we learned to #respectthenap.

Neighborhood walk

A street full of construction vehicles working to replace utility poles, water inside of tulips, rocks (always rocks), deep down utility meters covered with bugs and slugs, and a kid who wasn’t a kid. Always something!

New pool, who dis?

We acquired (by imagination) a second pool this afternoon. First being our blue kiddie pool, and now this brown wonder. All the more exciting when you get to show it off to Xanna:)

Dinner time entertainment

Shirts off to a sunny weekend! Let’s just say eating outside offers a lots of distractions:) Thank you, Lola, for creating the “pit stop” style of eating…she puts together a bite and the kids swoop through for a mouthful on their way to do something else.

Cheers for peroxide

Well, Lummi one-upped Grandpa by swallowing a sock. Thanks to peroxide, we got her to throw it up. And the kids decided running up and down Margy’s driveway was the perfect way to pass time while we were waiting. (Thanks, Margy!)
