Cabin fever set in today. We had to get off the block. Luckily the roads cleared to drive off the hill…but where to go when going nowhere is the priority? The Locks!

No salmon at the salmon ladder, but there was heat! We warmed our toesies and watched frigid water rush by through the windows:)

It was fun to smoosh our faces into the glass and imagine salmon swimming by, though. Lots of bubbles!

Really, anything these days merits a treat:)

It’s a day after Christmas miracle!

Margy’s sledding hill is open! We are so lucky! Hot Tip: Skiing tomorrow…really today:)

More like a cheese powder snack:)

Hot chocolate (to warm up), a gingerbread person cookie, goldfish crackers, and M&Ms. And carrots for the reindeer, with a note to Santa letting him know that the reindeer too get snacks.

…Apparently, eating the leftover carrots that the reindeer didn’t finish is a thing:)
