We arrived early to Holmes’ bike riding class, why not use the cones for leash training too?

For how arduous it seems to help kids learn how to bike, it is a pretty complex set of movements when you think about it. Like swimming, hands and feet move at the same time but in different directions…and if you stop, you just might fear for your life! Like biking through the River of Death here, keep your feet up and just keep moving forward.

Puppy training class! And Meryl made a treat pocket training belt in her after school sewing club for this very use!

Here she comes! The Sea God has arrived on the stage at Meryl’s second grade theater performance!

In second grade, the students help write the play script and design their own costumes. Lola served a big part in Meryl’s costume design by making a cape and skirt, bringing to life her Sea God character!

Yikes! It’s March and Holmes’ class play was in January! Here he is…the squirrel.

Holmes was actually one of three squirrels, amidst a number of forest creatures. He too had to learn his lines as well, though all the pre-K kids had several prompts on stage:) Also, Holmes was very proud to show us where he sat back stage, as stage mechanics and stage theatrics are so fun to learn when you’ve only seen one side of the scene!

Orthodontia, we have arrived! Meryl got an expander…with the color name, ‘party mix.’ (All the glitter.) Pediatric dentistry and orthodontia is bonkers advanced, compared to our ancient upbringing:) And yes, that’s a 3D model of Meryl’s upper jaw!

And looking so sharp in the Christmas shirt that Sasha sent a couple of years ago. When fitted is hip:)
