Holmes joined his first soccer team this fall too! And they named themselves the Battle Bees:)

Meryl joined me at a women’s philanthropy event where we got to learn about good people doing great things to help their communities.

Yesterday, Humbao and I were the best, most supportive cheering squad. Holmes got close to riding independently, oh so close.

I had the hunch that he was on the cusp of catching the wave, so we headed up to the playground after dinner last night for another practice round and…he did it, he did it! BIG SMILES all around:) He was so proud of himself, as he should be!

Frisbee practice! As she is now a third grader, Meryl has the opportunity to join the school Ultimate Frisbee team this fall. So, this summer, we’re getting some reps in.

Go Storm! We love going to Storm basketball games!

It is possible to root for the Storm and Caitlin Clark…twice! What fun to see her play a few weeks apart and catch her play into her stride with the Indiana Fever. And cheer on both Storm wins!

We get to bike to Storm games as Climate Pledge Arena is close to our house! Zipping in and out through traffic is so satisfying.
